Dr. Carlos F. Diaz is professor Emeritus in The Collage of Education at of education at Florida Atlantic University.  Prior to his tenure at FAU, he was a professor of political science/education at Broward College and a middle school social studies/bilingual teacher in the Palm Beach County schools. He has been a co-author or editor of four books  as well as written many chapters /articles in other publications.  His research and writing has focused on multicultural and global education as well as equity/social justice in education.
