Cathy Anaya

Cathy Anaya has not only committed herself to helping children and families through her work as the Director of ASPIRA Palm Beach, but is also one of the most active and committed community leaders for the past 21 years. Her philosophy is to use her role as the Director of a social service agency to strengthen and advance the Palm Beach County Hispanic Community and to improve the lives of children and families from all cultural backgrounds. Her community involvement includes hard work with numerous boards and committees.
Presently Mrs. Anaya-Wolf spends many hours volunteering on many Boards throughout Palm Beach County such as the Education Commission of Palm Beach County, Juvenile Justice Board, and School District, Safe Schools Advisory Committee. Mrs. Anaya-Wolf has been asked to be part of many initiatives such as CARE (Community Advocates for Reform in Education,) that promoted equity and equality in education for minority populations and brought to the forefront about the quality of the delivery of academic services to children and Palm Beach Community College Diversity Committee, Lake Worth Campus, to assist in the creation and adoption of a diversity plan that impacted all departments within the college.
Mrs. Anaya- Wolf graduated in 1990 Summa Cum Laude from Saint Thomas University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Sociology. In 2000 was the recipient of a John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Fellowship to attend the Institute for Non-For-Profit Management at Columbia University were she completed a master’s certificate in the area of business administration. She also attended in 1999, the public policy institute at Nova Southeastern University as well as many other training certifications. She is presently married and a proud mother of a beautiful baby girl.
